Davana oil is a member of the Asteraceae family. This oil tends to alternate between a masculine floral scent through to a woodsy, balsamic odour. It is classed as a middle note and blends well with citrus, floral, spicy and woodsy oils.
Davana is used in regulating and balancing the menstrual cycle and can help ease menopausal changes. It can be helpful in reducing unwanted muscle spasms, like those that often come from abdominal cramping relating to a cycle or from a spastic cough.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
