This tree comes from the family of more than 600 species of Eucalyptus. Commonly known as the Lemon Scented Eucalyptus this tree has a distinctive bark that has a smooth texture and is dimpled. The oil is taken from the leaves, twigs and wood of the more mature Eucalyptus trees as they have a higher amount of oil and provide a higher standard of the pale yellow oil at distillation.
