History: Ho Leaf essential oil has expanded in recent years and it now an important source of natural linalool (which is still preferred over the synthetic form) for some fragrance applications in the perfume industry. Indeed, Ho Leaf and Ho Wood oil have largely displaced the use of rosewood as a source of natural linalool. It has also been used an effective insect repellent.
