Description: Black Cumin Seed Oil (also often called Black Coriander Oil or simply Black Oil) is derived from the small, black, crescent-shaped seeds that are historically known for their therapeutic properties. Its active compounds, crystalline nigellone and thymoquinone, are the most studied, but it also contains: myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, palmitoleic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, arachidonic acid, proteins and vitamins B1, B2, B3, calcium, folate, iron, copper, zinc and phosphorous. It is an anti-oxidant and soothes dry, irritated skin, soothing and softening as it moisturises.

Aromatic Description: Characteristic spicy odour

Common Uses: Black Cumin Seed oil is antibacterial, so it works to fight the bacteria that cause acne.  It is very moisturising and can significantly reduce signs of ageing and given how good it is for your skin, it should be no surprise that it’s great for beautiful hair and nail growth too.

Consistency: Medium Viscosity

Absorption: Absorbs into the skin at an average speed and leaves a slight residue on the skin.

Shelf life: Users can expect a shelf life of 24 months with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.
